In its time, it held the record for the fire with the most fatalities in New York City. The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire was a linchpin for workers’ rights and the unionization of factories and was a milestone in the women’s suffrage movement. The plight of the mostly immigrant women who perished is recalled in this documentary-style production about the fire and its aftermath.
